He talks my language. Great book for beginner or advanced golfer. I learned more in the 1st 3 chapters than I learned from any lesson. And the chapter on what I call "Golf Speak" explained all the hook, slice, fade etc.

This book is a must for any golfer's library. Having owned the original, the revised version is even better. And his book is an excellent read for anyone who plays the game. Jack shares an awful lot of what made him the greatest golfer of his time (and I'm still not convinced of all time).

Building on that one, Jack's book offers an array of options to adapt and improve your swing, doubtless. For this, I would suggest golf newcomers to start with Ben Hogan's "Five lessons" first. Jack does a great job in going through his swing, and it provides quite some interesting and thought-provoking suggestions on why he did things a certain way. Nevertheless, the book is quite long to read, and in my opinion, requires already some understanding about how a golf swing works.

The instruction information is also very good an easy to understand. I enjoyed this book and found a lot of helpful information and interesting history. Still worth the read for any golfer. He gets bogged down and repeats himself sometimes. Nicklaus was just a little before my golfing "time" so I know who is but not a lot about him. The book talks a lot about his career history - that was great.
